Nanjing Buddhist Mountain

Mike and Lu have just returned from a very successful two week visit to China, in which they presented material for a number of new projects, and checking in on current Weddles projects around Shanghai. A visit to the almost-complete Weddles-designed Nanjing Mountain was a highlight. This mammoth £400 million project is due for completion near the end of 2015. The Pagoda central to the scheme is to become the new home to Buddha’s parietal-bone relic – a artifact of unparalleled religious significance to Buddhism . 2015 Bat Survey Season

The survey season for the dawn and dusk bat surveys has now begun in Sheffield and South Yorkshire. The survey period is likely to conclude in September. If you are submitting a planning application and bats, evidence of bat activity or habitat value is present at your site, you have a 5 month window in which to have this survey carried out. Survey season is busy, so please get in touch asap if you would like us to quote for this survey.
