We were instructed by independent, local house builder Campbell Homes to provide a cost-effective hard and soft landscape scheme for the development of this site at Wincobank in Sheffield. Working alongside Self Architects we focused on providing a robust scheme which would be sufficient for Sheffield City Council’s officers to allow the discharge of planning conditions.
The development makes good use of an industrial brownfield site by providing fourteen additional family houses for the Grimethorpe and Wincobank area.
The landscape proposals enhance the setting of the development and provide amenity for both residents and the general public through boundary tree planting, formal hedgerows and structural shrub planting.
