We worked with JVN Architecture to develop a residential scheme which was sensitive to its landscape, visual and ecological context. Our work included a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment, Tree and Ecology Surveys and Landscape Masterplanning.
Despite the scheme including a significant wildlife corridor along the A57, it was refused at Planning Committee. Bassetlaw District Council felt that the scheme would result in coalescence between Shireoaks and Worksop. The refusal was appealed and working with DLP Planning Consultants the Appeal has now been allowed. The whole process took 12 months.
